    Royal Green Hojari (Boswellia sacra) is the highest‑grade Omani frankincense, historically revered for its purity, spiritual importance, and elite status in ancient trade. Rarest grade of the world’s most prized frankincense (3–5% of harvest). Historically linked to royalty, temples, and sacred rites. Superior fragrance unmatched by other frankincense species. Deep cultural and spiritual significance in Oman.   • Historically

    Oman’s Dhofar region was the heart of the ancient Incense Road, exporting Hojari resin to Rome, Egypt, Israel, India, and China. The finest grades were reserved for royalty—even today, a portion of Royal Hojari is set aside for the Sultan of Oman.

    Royal Hojari has been revered since antiquity as the most spiritually significant frankincense, valued above all other varieties. Ancient texts describe it as “as valuable as gold” and identify it as the type gifted by the Magi. It was central to Egyptian temple worship, where large quantities were burned daily as one of the seven sacred oils.

    Its smoke was believed to purify, protect, and elevate consciousness, a belief still held in Omani tradition today.

    Large, green‑tinted crystalline tears, highly translucent, often very clean.

    Scents: A delicate, refined fragrance with notes of bright citrus, pine, honey, and eucalyptus. Smooth, complex scent that shifts from crisp to gently sweet, producing an uplifting, clean smoke ideal for meditation and prayer.
