We created this incense resin burner after testing many others and finding them disappointing. Some relied on charcoal, others on electricity, and some used tea light candles like ours — yet none matched the performance, craftsmanship, or thoughtful design of our original prototype. Many felt cheaply made or poorly designed, so we set out to build something better.
Along the way, we carefully sourced high-quality, sustainable, and fair-trade incense from trusted suppliers. We hope you’ll give our burners a try. To help you explore, we offer a small sample package so you can discover which scents resonate with you. While we provide a variety of blends we’ve thoughtfully developed, we also encourage you to experiment and create your own combinations as you become more familiar with the subtle complexities of each resin.
Our incense bowls are fully reusable. Once the resin has cooled and solidified, simply use a flat-head screwdriver to gently remove the remaining material before your next use.
For best results, use smokeless, unscented tea light candles. We recommend candles with a burn time of 6 to 8 hours, depending on how long you’d like your space to be filled with fragrance.
The burner’s height is adjustable, allowing you to slide the bowl holder closer to or farther from the flame — or even move it completely away. Adjust the height based on the type of resin you’re burning and the size of your tea light. Always keep the flame below the rim of the candle holder. As a general guideline, position the bottom of the resin bowl approximately 1¼ inches above the flame, then fine-tune to suit your preference.
Our colored sands, which are non-flammable, and are measured to accommodate either size tea light, which is why the bowl holders are designed to be height adjustable for optimal performance.
