The incense burner comes to you pre-installed. If you need to make any adjustments, be sure the band stays right at the bottom of the lip of the opening of the glass tealight candle holder, and be sure the key of the adjustable band is not covering the notch.
Hold the wire in place with one hand while tightening the band with the other hand until it holds steady, but is still able to be adjusted by hand. The wire can be moved slightly to the left and right, also up and down.

Slightly move the bowl aside.
Pour sand into the glass jar.

Use scissors to trim 1/8 of an inch of the wick and straighten it out before lighting it. Photo is example of cut vs. un-cut wick. Important note: after lighting, the wick will bend, please use a flathead screwdriver to gently straighten it again.
Place 1 tea light candle in the middle of the glass tealight candle holder on top of the sand. Hold the end of the wire, slightly move it to the side.

Pour one third of the 7g of ground
Ancient Oak Special Blend into the incense bowl.

Light the candle. Hold the end of the wire, slightly move the incense bowl back to where it is aligned to the center of the glass tealight candle holder. Be sure the incense bowl and tealight candle are as close to the center of the glass tealight candle holder as possible before lighting the candle.

The height is adjustable, so you can move the bowl holder aside, and even away from the flame completely. You can adjust the height depending on the type of incense you are burning, and how much smoke you want to produce, but you must keep the flame lower than the rim of the glass tealight candle holder.
To remove used incense from the bowl, place the used bowl (cold down) in a freezer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it is hardened. Then, pry out the hardened incense with a flathead screwdriver or similar tool. DO NOT HANDLE HOT INCENSE BOWL; BURN RISK.
